The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) wishes to inform all candidates, parents, guardians, school proprietors, and the general public that the 2026 Selection and Placement Exercise into Federal Technical Colleges has been successfully concluded.
The exercise, conducted in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) and the Principals of Federal Technical Colleges, followed the equally successful conduct and release of the results of the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) held on Saturday, 13th June, 2026.
The selection and placement process was carried out in line with the approved admission guidelines to ensure a transparent, fair, and merit-based allocation of qualified candidates into Federal Technical Colleges across the country.
Candidates who participated in the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination can now access their selection and placement status online by going to nabteb.gov.ng, then navigate to the Media Centre on the Menu Bar, and click on FTC Admission Status to view.
Candidates can also access their admission status at NABTEB Offices in the 36 States and the Six geo-political Zones, and NABTEB National Headquarters in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.
Successful candidates are advised to visit https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng on Friday, 24th July, 2026, to print out their Notification of Admission slip, and then proceed with the Notification of Admission slip to the Federal Technical College to which they have been admitted to collect their admission letters and complete all necessary registration formalities within the stipulated period.
NABTEB congratulates all successfully placed candidates and encourages them to take advantage of the unique opportunities offered by Federal Technical Colleges in acquiring quality technical and vocational education.
