Congratulatory messages from stakeholders in the Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector have started pouring in for Dr. Nnasia N. Asanga, FCA, on his appointment as the Acting Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB).
Among the stakeholders is the National Association of Technical and Vocational Schools Proprietors of Nigeria (NATEVOSPON), Osun State Chapter, which said it rejoiced with Dr. Asanga on his appointment as the Acting Registrar of NABTEB.
“We, the Centres Proprietors/Proprietresses of Private Technical Colleges in Osun State are pledging our supports to your administration in moving the Board forward in order to achieve her objectives of promoting the Business and Technical Education in Nigeria to enviable higher level”, NATEVOSPON stated in a congratulatory statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Leye Durosawo and Secretary, Wole Adetogun and addressed to the NABTEB Acting Registrar/Chief Executive Officer.
Also, NATEVOSPON National Vice President, Dr. Amoo joined the Osun State Chapter in commending Dr. Asanga for his leadership of NABTEB that culminated in the Board’s release of the May/June 2024 examinations results in record time.
“Your outstanding record in the release of May/June 2024 examinations results within just two (2) months after the last paper was written has beaten the imagination of people. Kudo to you and your management team and staff. This has proved your leadership’s readiness to make the impossible become possible”, the association added in the statement.
In its congratulatory message, the Comprehensive Secondary Vocational School, Amawom Oboro, in Ikwuano local government area of Abia State said, “We celebrate your appointment because we have always known that your noble antecedents and ever revered immense contributions to the development of the Board in terms of standard and effective service delivery, and your desire to always make NABTEB the best, will earn you higher positions”.
According to the message, which was signed by its principal, Chief James Ajuzie, the school said it was sure that Dr. Asanga’s emergence would “pave a faster way to take the Board to the global height of honour she deserves to ensure she becomes the first among her contemporaries in all positive ramifications”.
